and indeed I regard the

special privilege under refer-

ence as one which might well be

allowed to disappear in the

course of time. I should be

glad if you would consider

whether there is in fact any

sound objection to its being

decided that the special

privilege should apply only

to officers at present in

Class II of the Cadet Service,

and should lapse in the case of

future entrants to that class.
